The department has also thanked those who reported the mistake. The department said that the problem will be fixed soon and thanks the taxpayers for their cooperation.

What was the whole matter?
For the past several days, some people have been receiving emails from the Income Tax Department that the amount of tax paid by them does not match with their financial transactions. Apart from this, some big transactions were also mentioned in it. However, some people said that the transactions mentioned in it were never done by him. That is, he said that the claim being made through this mail was wrong. Later the Income Tax Department took cognizance of this.
