New Delhi: An investigation was conducted by the Income Tax Department at the office of Truecaller App. The Income Tax Department conducted searches in the Truecaller office and its associated campus. The company has been accused of violating transfer pricing rules and the income tax agencies are investigating the matter.
What is Truecaller App?
Sweden based Truecaller is quite popular in many countries including India. This app used to tell you the names of those callers whose numbers are not saved in your phone. For example, if a call is coming from an unknown number, then Truecaller App shows the name of that person on the mobile screen. After this you can think about picking up that call or not.
