Income Tax Raid: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is in the headlines these days. On Thursday, December 18, Income Tax suddenly raided Shilpa Shetty’s house in Juhu. Income Tax conducted the raid in a case related to his famous hotel Bastian Garden City in Bangalore. The Income Tax Department team raided not only Mumbai but also hotels in Bengaluru. There is an allegation of alleged fraud of Rs 60 crore in Shilpa Shetty’s hotel, due to which the Income Tax Department has now taken action.
According to sources, this raid took place following complaints of alleged manipulation and tax evasion in the financial transactions of the hotel. In the year 2019, Shilpa Shetty had bought 50 percent stake in Bastian Hospitality. The owner of the company is industrialist Ranjit Bindra. The Income Tax Department is now closely examining the financial records and bank accounts of Bastian Pub. The financial records and accounts are being closely examined.
The restaurant was raided on December 17
The Income Tax Department raided Bastian Restaurant in Bengaluru on 17 December. Now a raid has been conducted at his residence in Juhu, Mumbai. Shilpa Shetty is an actress as well as a businessman. He has restaurants in different parts of the country including Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore. Bastian is quite luxurious.
