6th Pay Commission DA Hike: Before Diwali, on one hand, Nayab Singh Saini government has given the gift of bonus along with DA to lakhs of employees and pensioners of Haryana, while on the other hand, Chandigarh administration has also given the gift of dearness allowance along with bonus to its employees.

According to the order, Chandigarh Administration has increased the dearness allowance of employees getting salary under the Sixth Pay Commission from 50% to 53%. The new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2024, so arrears from July to September will also be available. The administration has informed all departments and managers about this new order. This increase is only for those employees of UT Chandigarh who are getting dearness allowance as per central norms. This increase in dearness allowance will be under the central pattern.

Ad-hoc bonus also announced

Chandigarh Administration has decided to give ad-hoc bonus (non-productivity linked bonus) equal to 30 days’ emoluments to its employees for the financial year 2023-24. This bonus will be given under the instructions issued by the Central Government, according to the Chandigarh Administration, the Government of India has approved non-productivity linked bonus i.e. Ad-hoc Bonus to Central Government employees in Group C and all non-gazetted employees in Group B. Has given. The maximum limit for calculation of payment of ad-hoc bonus will be seven thousand rupees per month.

Will get salary ahead of time

The Finance Department of the UT Administration on Friday issued orders to the officials of all the departments and offices under the administration, asking them to release salaries to all their employees by October 29. This includes contract, guest, outsourcing and DC rate employees. It is written in the order that if there is any shortfall in attendance then it can be adjusted in the next month’s salary. Earlier, the Health Department had issued orders to pay salaries to all its employees before Diwali. Now the administration has ordered all departments to do the same.
