Gill played 2 matches
Till now Gill had got a chance to play two matches in this series. Gill could not play the Perth Test due to injury, after which the player returned in the Pink Ball Test played in Adelaide. Gill scored 31 runs in the first innings of this match and 28 runs in the second innings. Apart from this, only 1 run was scored from his bat in the first innings of Gabba Test. So far Gill has scored only 60 runs in the two matches played in this series.
