Delhi: A big update has come out regarding the bilateral series between India and Bangladesh. This series was initially supposed to take place in the year 2025, but due to some reason it was postponed. Now Bangladesh Cricket Board has given a new statement regarding this and has also released its home calendar. According to the calendar, Team India can tour Bangladesh between August and September.
A series of ODI and T20 International matches will be played in this tour. However, till now there has been no official confirmation on this from the Indian Cricket Board.
Bangladesh released home calendar of 2026
Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced its home calendar for the year 2026. Along with Pakistan and Australia, the names of India are also included in this. According to the available information, three ODI and three T20 International matches can be played between India and Bangladesh.
Team India can play ODI and T20 series
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Bangladesh Board’s operations head Shahriyar Nafees said that this series has been rescheduled. The Indian team can reach Bangladesh on 28th August. The first ODI match will be played on 1 September. The second ODI is likely to be held on 3rd September and the third ODI is likely to be held on 6th September.
T20 series can be played after the ODI series. The first T20 match will be held on 9 September. The second match can be played on 12 September and the third T20 match can be played on 13 September. However, considering the current situation in Bangladesh, the Indian board may ask for a report before taking the final decision. Until an official announcement is made by BCCI, the schedule will not be considered final.
