After this series, a T20 match is to be played between the two teams, but the Hindu Mahasabha has announced a bandh in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on October 6 in protest against the India-Bangladesh cricket match to be held next month in protest against the oppression of the Hindu community in Bangladesh. It is worth noting that a T20 match is to be held between the teams of the two countries in Gwalior on October 6. After this announcement by the Hindu Mahasabha, speculations have intensified that the T20 match between India and Bangladesh may be cancelled due to security reasons.

Gwalior bandh announced on the day of the match

While talking to the media, the National Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha said, 'Hindu Mahasabha is opposing the India-Bangladesh match to be held in Gwalior on 6 October. Atrocities on Hindus are still going on in Bangladesh and in such a situation it is not right to play cricket with Bangladesh. The association has called for Gwalior bandh on the day of the match but there will be no ban on essential commodities.'

Tight security arrangements for test matches

It is worth noting that the second match of the Test series between India and Bangladesh is to be played on 27 September at the 'International Green Park Stadium' in Kanpur. On the other hand, members of the All India Hindu Mahasabha performed a havan in front of the stadium in protest against the match. After the incident, the police filed a complaint against 20 members of the organization for blocking the road and obstructing traffic. Apart from this, strict security arrangements have also been made for the match in view of the current situation.

Today the teams of both the countries will reach Kanpur

According to the police, 'The Indian and Bangladeshi cricket teams are expected to reach Kanpur by this evening (September 24). Tight security arrangements have been made for the players. Along with this, additional police force including senior officers has also been demanded. At present, we are reviewing the security arrangements and we are confident that we will get adequate police force through this system.'
