Actually, Chahal is the highest wicket taker for India in T20 International. He has taken 96 wickets in his name. However, Chahal has not got a chance in the team for a long time. Had he continued playing, he might have become the first bowler to take 100 wickets for India. But, now Arshdeep Singh is close to breaking this record.
Arshdeep Singh has taken 95 wickets in 60 T20 International matches so far. That means he will equal Chahal as soon as he takes one wicket and will become the Indian bowler taking the most wickets with two wickets. Apart from this, he can also touch the figure of 100 wickets in this series.
This series between India and England is of five matches. If Arshdeep Singh plays all the matches, he will have a great opportunity to not only break Chahal's record but also complete 100 wickets. He will also become the first bowler to take 100 wickets for India in T20I.
