IND vs ENG: England blown away by Abhishek Sharma's storm, match ended in just 77 balls

Sports Desk: In the first T20 match being played between India and England in Kolkata, the Indian team has won by defeating England by 7 wickets. With this victory, we have taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. In this match, Arshdeep became the highest wicket taker for India in T20 International cricket. Whereas Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant innings and ended the match in just 77 balls.

In the match played at Eden Gardens, after winning the toss, it was decided to bowl first. Batting first, the England team was all out for 132 runs. England had a very bad start. Salt was out without opening the account. His batting partner Ben Duckett also got out after scoring 4 runs. After that, Harry Brook supported Jos Buttler to some extent by scoring 17 runs but no batsman could walk as soon as Brook was out.

Barring Buttler, England's batsmen struggled to make any partnership and the captain completed his half-century in 34 balls. Chakraborty regained the momentum after the powerplay and bowled brilliantly at the ground of his home team of the Indian Premier League. In response, the Indian team, which came to chase this target, won the match in just 77 balls i.e. 12.5 overs. In the beginning, a brilliant inning was seen from Sanju Samson. After that, Abhishek Sharma's storm appeared. To which England had no answer. Abhishek Sharma played an inning of 79 runs. Apart from that, Sanju Samson scored 26 runs and Tilak Verma scored 19 runs. Joffra Archer took 2 wickets for England.
