Many players have not got a chance in this series. Which includes some players like Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill. Team India will play the T20 series under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. Akshar Patel has been made the vice-captain of the team.
Actually, the selection committee of Team India has rested Yashasvi, Shubman Dil and Rishabh Pant. All these three players were part of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. These three players may get a chance in the ODI series, because BCCI has not yet announced Team India for the ODI series and Champions Trophy.
Rituraj Gaikwad did not get a chance
BCCI has also not selected KL Rahul in the squad for the T20 series. Apart from this, Ruturaj Gaikwad has not been included in the T20 team. Gaikwad and Rahul have been out of the T20 team for a long time. Rahul had gone on Australia tour for the Test series. He may be given a chance for the ODI series, but Gaikwad will have to wait for now. Whereas Ishan Kishan has once again been ignored.
These players got a chance in the T20 series against England
Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel have got a place in the team as wicketkeepers for the T20 series against England. Whereas Mohammed Shami has returned to the team. Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh and Washington Sundar have also been included in Team India. Harshit Rana, Varun Chakraborty and Arshdeep Singh have also got a place in Team India.
