'Bowlers like Ajaz Patel are easily found in local clubs of India'
Delhi: Team India's former veteran batsman Mohammad Kaif has given a shocking statement on New Zealand's star spinner Ajaz Patel, which has created a stir in the cricket world. Kaif claimed that in India, bowlers like Ajaz Patel are easily found even in local clubs. This statement came when Patel performed brilliantly at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and took 15 wickets in the Test series against India, in which he took 11 wickets in Wankhede alone.

The New Zealand team created history by winning the Test series 3-0 on Indian soil and this was the result of the hard work of their spin bowlers. In a video on social media, Kaif said that there was nothing special in Ijaz's bowling. According to him, Patel bowled two full-toss, two short balls and two length deliveries, yet he got wickets. Kaif said in a joking tone that such bowlers can be found in every local club of India.
The former right-handed batsman also commented on New Zealand's ace cricketer Glenn Phillips, saying that he is a part-time bowler and does not know how to bowl quality. Kaif said, “We lost to a part-timer and not a good spinner. “No New Zealand bowler was effective at Wankhede, except Mitchell Santner, who gave a classic Test performance by taking 11 wickets in Pune.”
It is known that the Indian team has faced a clean sweep for the first time in a Test series of three or more matches at home.
