IND vs NZ 2nd Test Day 2: Like the Bengaluru Test, Pune also witnessed a stellar performance by the Indian batsmen in the first innings. On the second day of the Pune Test, India lost seven important wickets for a total of 107 runs till the lunch break. On the second day of the Pune Test, India started playing with a score of 16/1. During this, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a partnership of 34 runs and took the team's score to 50 runs. At the same time, Gill became the first victim of Mitchell Santner by scoring 30 runs. After this, India's wickets started collapsing. Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 1 run, Yashasvi Jaiswal 30 runs, Rishabh Pant 18 runs, Sarfaraz Khan 11 runs and Ravichandran Ashwin scored 4 runs.

Till lunch break, India has scored 107 runs at the loss of 7 wickets after playing 38 overs in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja is unbeaten on 11 runs and Washington Sundar is unbeaten on 2 runs. For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner took 4 wickets for 36 runs in 16 overs. Glenn Phillips took 2 wickets and Tim Southee took one wicket.
