IND vs NZ: Indian team's spell broken, New Zealand won the test series in India after 69 years

With this, the New Zealand team managed to win the Test series in India for the first time.

Test matches are being played between India and New Zealand for 69 years. But it had never won by coming to India, but the team captained by Tom Latham has won the series in India after 69 years. The first Test between India and New Zealand was played in 1955. Both have played 64 test matches between themselves so far. In which India has won 22. Whereas New Zealand has got success in 15 matches. 28 matches between the two ended in a draw. The Indian team last lost the series at home in 2012. England then won the 4-match series 2-1. After 4331 days, the Indian team has lost the series.

New Zealand scored 259 runs in the first innings and bowled out India for 156 runs in the first innings. New Zealand scored 255 runs in the second innings and gave India a target of 359 runs to win. But the Indian team was all out for 245 runs in the second innings.

In India's second innings, apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal (77), only Ravindra Jadeja could play comfortably against the New Zealand bowlers. Whereas experienced Rohit Sharma (8) and Virat Kohli (17) could not do anything amazing in the second consecutive innings. Shubman Gill scored 23 runs. Washington Sundar was out after scoring 21 runs. Ashwin was out after scoring 18 runs, Jadeja after scoring 42 runs. With this the series was also lost.
