How will the pitch be for the final?

A green pitch was prepared at Wankhede Stadium for the semi-finals. Earlier questions were raised about the pitch but here 499 runs were scored. The Ahmedabad pitch for the title match will also be similar. According to the report of ESPNcricinfo, the final match will be held on the center pitch prepared from a mixture of red and black soil. Like Wankhede, there will be a good surge here too. There is likely to be less help for the spinners. The final match is also going to be high-scoring.

Only one match of this T20 World Cup has been played on the pitch used in the India-New Zealand final match. That means the pitch is almost fresh. The match between South Africa and Canada took place on this pitch on 9 February. In that match, South Africa had scored 213 runs.
