IND vs NZ: First day's play over, Sundar-Ashwin's brilliant performance

The second Test match between India and New Zealand is starting from October 24, which is being played in Pune. On the first day, New Zealand's first innings was limited to 259 runs while by the end of the day's play, India had scored 16 runs at the loss of one wicket. Team India is currently trailing by 243 runs in the first innings. Washington Sundar was the star player of the first day in the Pune Test, he dismissed 7 batsmen of the Kiwi team and gave the best performance of his career.

New Zealand won the toss

New Zealand captain Tom Latham won the toss and decided to bowl first. Captain Latham once again failed to play a big innings and Ashwin dismissed him for 15 runs. Will Young also returned to the pavilion after scoring only 18 runs. But then the 62-run partnership of Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra put the Kiwi team in a strong position. Conway scored 76 runs and Ravindra scored a half-century of 65 runs.
