IND vs NZ: India's first innings in Mumbai Test was limited to 263 runs; Got a lead of 28 runs
IND vs NZ 3rd Test Day 2: India's first innings was reduced to 263 runs on the second day of Mumbai Test. With this, the team could get a slight lead of 28 runs in the first innings. Shubman Gill's contribution of 90 runs and Rishabh Pant's 60 runs have been included in this innings. Whereas, Washington Sundar remained unbeaten after scoring 38 runs. Ajaz Patel took five wickets for New Zealand.

On the second day of the third Test match being played at Wankhede Stadium, India started playing with the score of 86/4. During this, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant batted brilliantly and took India's score beyond 150. Gill completed his half-century in 66 balls and then Rishabh Pant completed his half-century in just 36 balls. Both added 96 runs. Ish Sodhi gave the fifth blow to India at the score of 180 runs by dismissing Pant. Pant was out after scoring 60 runs in 59 balls.
By the lunch break, India had scored 195 runs at the loss of five wickets after playing the first 43 overs. Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 70 runs in 106 balls and Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 10 runs in 18 balls. India was just 40 runs behind New Zealand in the first innings. After this, the Indian batsmen could not play consistently in the second session. Ravindra Jadeja was out after scoring 14 (25), Sarfaraz Khan 0 (4), Shubman Gill 90 (146), R Ashwin 6 (13) and Akash Deep 0 (0). Washington Sundar remained unbeaten after scoring 38 (36) runs.
India has scored 263 runs in the first innings after playing 59.4 overs. For New Zealand, Ajaz Patel took 5 wickets for 103 runs in 21.4 overs. Matt Henry, Glenn Flips and Ish Sodhi took one wicket each.
