Delhi: A fun and sportsmanlike moment was witnessed during the third ODI match played in Indore between the Indian cricket team’s legendary batsman Virat Kohli and New Zealand’s star all-rounder Daryl Mitchell. After Mitchell’s dismissal, Kohli first applauded his century and then jokingly pushed him out of the field. This scene greatly entertained the spectators present in the stadium and Mitchell himself was also seen smiling.

Mitchell left a tremendous impact by batting brilliantly in the three-match ODI series against India. He scored more than 300 runs in the entire series and remained a constant challenge for the Indian bowlers. This ODI series was record breaking for Daryl. He scored 352 runs in three matches at an average of 176, which included two centuries and one half-century. On the basis of his unbeaten inning of 131 runs in the second ODI, New Zealand won by 7 wickets and leveled the series. Even in the decisive match, Mitchell maintained pressure on the Indian bowlers.
