T20 World Cup Final: The final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 was played between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, Team India, batting first, scored 255 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. The New Zealand team, which came to chase the target, had a bad start and by the time it reached 72 runs, it had lost half of its wickets.

There was a mild controversy in the 11th over of New Zealand’s innings when an altercation broke out between Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh and batsman Daryl Mitchell.

What is the whole matter?

Actually, Arshdeep Singh was bowling the 11th over. Mitchell Santner took one run on the first ball, while Daryl Mitchell hit two consecutive sixes on the next two balls. The fourth ball was wide. After this, on the fourth ball bowled again, Mitchell played a shot towards extra cover, but could not score a run.

On the fifth ball, Mitchell was trying to play a big shot outside the off stump, but the ball reached straight to Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep picked up the ball and threw it straight towards Mitchell. As soon as the ball was hit, Mitchell became angry and started moving towards Arshdeep. Whereas Arshdeep started returning towards his run-up after throwing.
