IND vs PAK: RR's Vaibhav Suryavanshi to be sold in IPL 2025, beats PAK
Delhi: In the first match between India and Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024, Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not live up to the expectations. Batting first, Pakistan scored 281 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs and set a target of 282 runs for India.

India had a bad start, where both the openers were out early. Vaibhav scored 1 run in just 9 balls and was caught behind the wicket by Ali Raza. He had a partnership of 28 runs with Ayush Mahatre for the first wicket, but he too was out after scoring 20 runs.
Vaibhav recently came into limelight in the IPL 2025 auction when Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1 crore 10 lakh. With this, he became the youngest player to become a millionaire in IPL. There were a lot of expectations from Vaibhav coming from Bihar in this tournament, but his performance against Pakistan was disappointing.
In this match, Pakistan's opener Shahzeb Khan played a brilliant inning of 159 runs, which strengthened his hold on the match.
