India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in the 27th match of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. In this one-sided match played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India batted first and set a target of 175 runs. Pakistan team could score only 114 runs after losing all the wickets in 18 overs and India won.
Let us tell you, India, batting first, scored 175 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Ishan Kishan played a brilliant inning of 77 runs, which included 10 fours and 3 sixes. However, India suffered a big blow in the first over itself when opener Abhishek Sharma returned to the pavilion without opening his account. After this, Ishan Kishan took India’s score forward with his aggressive batting. With the contributions of Tilak Verma (25), Hardik Pandya (1), Suryakumar Yadav (32) and Shivam Dubey (27), India scored a respectable score of 175 runs.
