IND VS PAK : PCB President Mohsin Naqvi left the shame! A new condition has been added if the Asia Cup trophy is desired

IND VS PAK, Asia Cup Trophy Dispute : The Asia Cup trophy dispute between India and Pakistan is still not resolved. India has not received the Asia Cup title trophy. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi is also seen to be very stubborn about the recent Asia Cup winner’s trophy. He reiterated that if India wanted the T20 Asia Cup 2005 trophy, it should be accepted from him in Dubai. Mohsin Naqvi said, “The status of trophy transfer remains. If India wants the trophy, they should send their captain to Dubai and accept it from me.”

In the Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan played in Dubai on September 28, India won against Pakistan by 5 wickets. After winning the title, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav returned to India without accepting the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi at the presentation ceremony. Since then, the title trophy has been housed at the Asian Cricket Council office in Dubai. Naqvi has claimed that, as the president of the Asian Cricket Council, he has the right to present the trophy.

Naqvi has also said that Pakistan will file a complaint with the International Cricket Council about the misbehavior of the Indian U-19 players during the Junior Asia Cup. Speaking about this, Naqvi said, “We are going to write a letter to the ICC regarding the behavior of the Indian junior players during the Junior Asia Cup final, which was unacceptable.”

Not even interested in shaking hands

During the Asia Cup toss, India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav avoided shaking hands with Pakistan captain Salman Agha. That led to controversy. Naqvi said that there will be no compromise with India. On the issue, Naqvi said, “If India refrains its players from shaking hands with our players, it will be dealt with on the basis of equality and there will be no compromise. We are not even interested in shaking hands with them.”
