Ind vs Pak T20 World Cup: Will India-Pak players join hands in the Colombo match? Captain Salman Ali Aga answered this

Salman Ali Agha Handshake Controversy: Before the high-voltage match of the T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga has rekindled the handshake controversy by saying something new. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Aga said he hoped the match would be played in the right spirit, but he had a strange thing to say about India’s stance – “I hope the match will be played in the true spirit of the game.” If the Indian team plans to shake hands, “we will know tomorrow,” he said, adding further fuel to the ongoing conversation.

Controversy erupted over Asia Cup

Earlier, Aga had criticized India’s refusal to shake hands during the Asia Cup, saying such actions were bad for the game and young fans. He had said, “We didn’t really feel bad or anything like that. But, yes, it is not good for the game.” He also stressed that players are role models and should set the right example.

Indian team reached Colombo

India reached Colombo on Friday, where local dancers and drummers welcomed the team at the airport. Arshdeep Singh caught everyone’s attention with his dance moves, while head coach Gautam Gambhir remained focused and serious. Both the teams will train separately on Saturday, in which Pakistan will practice in the afternoon and India in the evening.

Training sessions of both the teams will be held at different times.

ICC confirmed, “Pakistan will have a training session at RPICS from 14:00 to 17:00 local time and will interact with the media at around 13:45 in the press conference room.”
For India, “India will have a training session at RPICS from 18:00 to 21:00 local time and a media interaction at approximately 17:30 in the press conference room.”
On the field, India will depend on special batsmen like Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, and Abhishek Sharma or Sanju Samson.

What will be India’s plan in Colombo?

Abhishek is recovering from illness, while Arshdeep and Hardik’s past record against Pakistan has been good. Sri Lankan pitches are expected to help spin, in such a situation Varun Chakraborty can play an important role.
