He scored 106 runs off 89 balls and put the team in a strong position. He has hit 8 fours and 6 sixes in this game.

De Villiers and Gilchrist’s records were broken

De Kock holds the record for most hundreds in ODIs against India. He has surpassed AB de Villiers in this feat. De Villiers has scored six centuries, while de Kocken now has seven centuries to his name. De Kock has now tied with Sanath Jayasuriya. Furthermore, de Kock has broken Adam Gilchrist’s record for most centuries against a single team.

Rowry with Sachin Tendulkar and Sangakkara

De Kock has equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of ODI centuries on foreign soil. Both have now scored seven centuries each. The list also includes legendary players like Rohit Sharma and Kumar Sangakkara.

A blow to South Africa ahead of the T20I series

India and South Africa Currently, after the ODI series, these two teams will play a five-match T20I series. Both the teams had already announced their squads, but the African team has been dealt two major shocks even before the series begins. Fast bowler Kwena Mphaka and batsman Tony De Zorji have been ruled out of the entire T20I series with hamstring injuries. Zorji also missed the third ODI as doctors advised him to rest.
