South Africa’s innings
South Africa’s batting lineup, which had struggled in Cuttack, showed great form in the second T20 match. Quinton de Kock laid the foundation by scoring a brilliant 90, and the other batsmen also provided excellent support. Due to this, South Africa was able to make a big score of 213 runs by losing only 4 wickets in 20 overs.
Tilak Verma’s half century did not work
Tilak Verma was the only batsman who remained at the crease for a long time. He scored 62 runs in 34 balls, but it was not enough for his team to win. South African bowlers dominated the entire match. He took early wickets, which put pressure on the Indian team and they did not get a chance to make a comeback in the match. Otniel Bartman finished the match with figures of 4/24 and sealed the win for the visiting team.
IND vs SA Indian batsmen failed in the second T20 also
India had a bad start. Shubman Gill was out in the very first over. Abhishek Sharma had a good start, but Jensen sent him to the pavilion. Suryakumar Yadav also got out early, due to which more questions were raised on his form. Akshar Patel was sent at number 3, but he also had to struggle from the beginning. Hardik Pandya also could not do anything special in this match. He was the match winner in the last match, but could not perform well today.
