Captain Surya was also questioned about sending Akshar Patel to the number. In response to which he explained the reason behind this decision and said, ‘We just thought this in the last match, we have seen Akshar batting very well in the longer format. We wanted him to bat in the same manner even today, but he could not do so. Now we will see what happens for us in the next match.

I think it would have been a smart chase, but never mind, Shubman was out on the first ball. I should have taken that responsibility, hit a little deeper.
