IND vs SL Under- 19 Womens T20 World Cup 2025: Team India's strong performance continues in the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup being played in Malaysia. The team has made its place in the Super-6 by defeating Sri Lanka by 60 runs in the last match of its group stage. However, despite the defeat, the Sri Lankan team has qualified for the next stage by finishing second.

In the 24th match of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 played at Byumas Oval, Kuala Lumpur, the Sri Lankan team won the toss and decided to bowl first. After which, thanks to the important inning of 49 runs by Gongadi Trisha, Team India scored 118 runs in 20 overs after losing 9 wickets. Other batsmen of the team could not do anything special in this innings. At the same time, for Sri Lanka, Pramudi Methsara, Limansa Thilakaratna and Aseni Thalagunne took two wickets each, while Rashmika Sewandi, Chamodi Praboda and captain Manudy Nanayakkara took one wicket each.
Chasing the target of 119 runs in the second innings, the batsmen of the Sri Lankan team succumbed to the Indian bowling. None of the batsmen of the Sri Lankan team could play well and the team was able to score only 58 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 9 wickets. Rashmika Sevvandi was the top scorer of the team, who scored 15 runs. Shabnam Shakeel, Joshita VJ and Parunika Sisodia took two wickets each for Team India. Ayushi Shukla and Vaishnavi Sharma got one wicket each.
