IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I: Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive fifty, a stormy half-century with a shower of fours and sixes.

New Delhi: In the third match of the T20 series being played against Zimbabwe, young Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi has once again created a sensation with his aggressive batting. After leaving his mark in the opening match of the series, in this third T20I too, Vaibhav completely destroyed the Zimbabwe bowling attack. Facing only 31 balls, he completed the second half-century of his international T20 career and led the Indian team towards a big score.

Two big changes in the team

At the beginning of the match, Indian captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first. Shreyas is having great luck these days in terms of coin toss, where he has won the toss 9 times out of his last 10 matches. Two changes were made in the Indian team composition for the match. Ashok Sharma was included in the final eleven in place of Prince Yadav, while young player Suryansh Shedge got the opportunity to play in place of Shivam Dubey. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza was also forced to make a change. He played shots freely against both the fast and spin bowlers of Zimbabwe. Vaibhav completed his fifty by hitting attractive strokes all around the field. During this innings, he hit 6 sharp fours and 2 skyscraper sixes.

New king of sixes in the year 2026

This performance of Vaibhav, who created fear with his explosive batting in the IPL, is not limited to any one tournament. In the year 2026, his bat is continuously on fire in every format of T20 cricket. Vaibhav has hit a total of 81 sixes so far in this calendar year, with which he has reached the first position in the list of Indian batsmen who have hit the most sixes in T20 in 2026. At the international level, only Finn Allen of New Zealand is ahead of him with 90 sixes. Vaibhav also crossed the figure of 80 sixes this year by hitting four sixes in the first T20I against Zimbabwe.
