IND vs ZIM: Team India announced for Zimbabwe tour! Sanju Samson out, Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets another chance

BCCI has announced India’s T20 team for the Zimbabwe tour. Sanju Samson has been dropped from the team, while young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been retained in the team, once again showing confidence in him.

IND vs ZIM, India squad: After the Indian cricket team’s tour of England, the next mission will be the tour of Zimbabwe, where a three-match T20 series will be played between the two teams. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member team for this series. This time, the selectors have taken many big decisions expressing confidence in the young players.

The most talked about thing is young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has been retained in the team for the second consecutive T20 series. At the same time, experienced wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson has been dropped from the team. Apart from this, Ashok Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh and Yash Thakur have got a place in the Indian team for the first time.

The command of the Indian team selected for the Zimbabwe tour has been handed over to Shreyas Iyer, while Tilak Verma will be the vice-captain. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dubey, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Varun Chakraborty, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Prabhsimran Singh have also been included in the team. Ishan Kishan and Prabhsimran Singh will handle the responsibility of wicketkeeping. At the same time, Sanju Samson, who was a part of the T20 team recently, did not get a chance this time, which surprised everyone.

IND vs ZIM: Three players got their first chance

The selectors have included three new faces in the Indian team for this series (IND vs ZIM). Wicketkeeper batsman Prabhsimran Singh along with fast bowlers Ashok Sharma and Yash Thakur have got a place in the national team for the first time. The selection committee has clearly indicated that it wants to give more opportunities to young players keeping the future in mind. In such a situation, the Zimbabwe tour will be a great opportunity for these players to prove themselves.

IND vs ZIM: Big change happened even before England ODI series

Along with announcing the team for the Zimbabwe tour, the selectors have also made major changes for the ODI series against England. Shivam Dubey has been included in the Indian ODI team in place of all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. This change has been made keeping in mind the balance of the team and now Shivam Dubey will be seen in Team India’s jersey in the ODI series against England.
