Shivam Dubey’s no ball creates ruckus, fans show class

IND vs ZIM: In the Super-8 match of ICC T20 World Cup 2026 played between India and Zimbabwe, Team India performed brilliantly and won by 72 runs, but during this match, an incident happened which sparked debate on social media. This was the case of Shivam Dubey’s strange no ball.

Shivam Dubey’s strange no ball caught attention

Actually, during Zimbabwe’s innings, Indian all-rounder Shivam Dubey came to bowl the 15th over. In this over, Dubey was continuously bowling far outside the off-stump, so that he could stop Brian Bennett from playing big shots continuously. However, after continuously bowling wide balls, he bowled the next ball as a no ball. Instead of falling on the pitch, this ball bounced on the grass, after which the umpire immediately declared this ball a no ball. According to ICC rules, if the ball falls outside the pitch then it is considered a no ball.

Indian fans have expressed strong displeasure after this strange delivery of Shivam Dubey. Social media users are trolling him fiercely. While sharing a post on X, a user wrote, BCCI, please do not give bowling to Shivam Dubey. It would be better if you get Hardik or someone else to bowl in his place. Dubey always bowls wide and no balls. If you allow them to bowl, India will lose the match.
