IND vs ZIM: Will this player’s card be removed from the second T20? New fast bowler is ready for debut
New Delhi: After registering a resounding victory in the first match of the three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe, the Indian cricket team will now take the field with the intention of capturing the series. The second T20 match of the series will be played on Saturday, July 25 at Harare Sports Club. Under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, the Indian team defeated Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in the first match. With this victory, India has achieved an unassailable lead of 1-0. Team India would now like to win the second match and win the series.
Eyes will be on Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s performance
In the first T20 match, 15-year-old young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored an explosive 50 runs in just 19 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. On the basis of his explosive innings, India easily achieved the target of 126 runs with 40 balls remaining. Vaibhav will be seen opening the innings in the second T20 also. Opener Abhishek Sharma suffered a slight injury to his finger while fielding in the last match. However, he came to bat. If the medical team declares him fit, he will handle the opening with flying colors.
Trust in middle order and bowling combination
The command of the Indian middle order will be in the hands of captain Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh and wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan. After the disappointment on the recent Ireland and England tours, the team management would like to avoid making any major tampering with the winning combination. In the bowling department, Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav had defeated the Zimbabwean batsmen with their sharp bowling in the first match. Acting coach Sunil Joshi expressed satisfaction over the performance of the entire bowling unit and expressed hope that the team will maintain the same discipline.

Yash Thakur will get a chance for international debut
Indian bowlers showed amazing rhythm in the first T20 match. With the new ball, the pair of Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav completely destroyed Zimbabwe’s top order by bowling lethally. At the same time, leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi bowled very economically and achieved an important success by giving only 24 runs in his 4 over spell.
There may be a change in the bowling line-up
Young fast bowler Ashok Sharma, who made his debut in the match, proved to be a bit expensive and could not get any success despite giving 29 runs in 4 overs. In such a situation, the team management can make a change in the bowling line-up in the second T20 match. There is a strong possibility of fast bowler Yash Thakur being included in the playing eleven in place of Ashok Sharma. If Yash Thakur gets a place in the final eleven, it will be the first (debut) match of his international cricket career.
