Today’s latest news: Taliban enraged by Pakistani attack, said – now the time for diplomacy is over
UN mentioned India about Islamophobia
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Parvathneni Harish said that the United Nations should pay attention to the growing trend of weaponizing religious identity and using it for narrow political purposes. He said that both state and non-state elements are involved in this. He said that India’s western neighbor is a great example of creating imaginary stories of Islamophobia around itself.
He raised the question that what would be called the harsh repression on the Ahmadiyya community in that country? Apart from this, what name will be given to the deportation of helpless Afghans in large numbers and the aerial bombing campaigns in the holy month of Ramzan?
Parvathneni Harish also said that repeated attempts have been made to use the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) against India and false and baseless allegations have been made against India through this platform.
He said that Muslims in India, including the people of Jammu and Kashmir, elect their own representatives, who raise their voice. He said that the “phobia” seen here is against the spirit of multicultural and peaceful coexistence of India, where people of all communities, including the Muslim community, live together.
