India’s capital New Delhi is going to witness a historic event in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate the ‘India AI Impact Expo 2026’ at Bharat Mandapam at 5 pm on Monday.

New Delhi: The Mahakumbh of Artificial Intelligence is going to start in the capital Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate the ‘India AI Impact Expo’ at Bharat Mandapam today at 5 pm. This summit will be held from February 16 to February 20 and technical experts, startups, industry leaders and policy makers from India and abroad will participate in it.

This expo is being considered as the largest platform for global collaboration, innovation and showcase of cutting-edge technologies in the field of Artificial Intelligence, where the future direction and possibilities of AI will be discussed in depth.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), this expo, organized along with the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’, will showcase the practical use of AI technology and its social impact. Its objective is to establish better coordination between policy and technology, implement innovation on a wider scale and take AI solutions to common citizens.

The event will be held in 10 different arenas spread over an area of ​​more than 70,000 square meters. Global technology companies, startups, academicians, research institutes, central ministries, state governments and international partners will participate together. Special pavilions from 13 countries will also be set up at the expo, which will showcase international cooperation in the AI ​​field.

7 Presidents and 9 Prime Ministers will attend

The global importance of this program can be gauged from the fact that Presidents of 7 countries, Vice Presidents of 2 countries and Prime Ministers of 9 countries will participate in it. Apart from this, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the world’s leading tech companies and about 2 lakh international representatives will be included. According to organizers, the five-day event is expected to attract more than 25 lakh visitors.

Over 600 high-potential startups will participate in the ‘India AI Impact Expo 2026’. Many of these startups will present solutions that have already been implemented in the real world and are making a population-level impact. The expo will feature over 300 selected exhibition pavilions and live demos, designed around three key themes—People, Planet and Prosperity. These themes aim to show how AI technology can contribute to social well-being, environmental balance and economic growth.

Over 500 sessions, over 3,000 speakers

Over 500 sessions will be organized in this five-day summit, in which more than 3,250 global experts, policy makers, industry leaders and academicians will participate. These sessions will discuss the impact of AI in sectors such as health, education, agriculture, climate change, cyber security, digital economy and smart cities.

The main objective of these discussions is to ensure that AI is developed in an inclusive, safe and responsible manner, so that its benefits reach every global citizen.
