India will host **India-AI Impact Summit 2026** under the IndiaAI Mission and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on 19-20 February, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This flagship global event – the first major AI summit in the Global South – focuses on measurable, inclusive AI impact across all sectors, positioning India as a leader in responsible innovation.

The summit is supported by five research casebooks developed by IndiaAI with international partners, which document real-world AI deployments for ethical scaling:

– **AI Casebook for Energy** (with the International Energy Agency): showcases AI applications in renewable forecasting, grid reliability and industrial efficiency for emerging economies.
– **Healthcare Casebook** (with the World Health Organization): Highlights Global South solutions in diagnostics, surveillance, maternal health, telemedicine and supply chains.
– **Compendium on Gender-Transformative AI** (with UN Women India): showcases innovations that advance women’s safety, financial inclusion, health, education, skills and climate resilience, while reducing biases.
– **Education Collection** (with Central Square Foundation and OneStep Foundation): Offers scalable AI tools for basic education, teacher support, and inclusion.
– **Krishi Sangrah** (with Maharashtra’s AI and Agritech Innovation Centre, supported by the World Bank): Compiles applicable solutions that benefit farmers and systems.

**A Research Symposium on AI and its Impact** will be organized at the Bharat Mandapam on February 18, 2026, before the summit, which will bring together researchers from India and the Global South to bridge the gap between policy, research and implementation.

These evidence-based initiatives provide practical insights to the Summit, strengthening India’s role in promoting sustainable, equitable AI globally.
