India AI Impact Summit 2026: India will become a technological superpower

Delhi University Professor Sanjay Singh Baghel termed the India AI Impact Summit 2026 organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi as a historic step for India. Citing the country’s global IT success since its adoption of information technology in the 1990s, he said AI will take India to new heights.

According to Professor Baghel, the youth of the nineties embraced IT, resulting in names like Google’s Sundar Pichai and IBM’s Arvind Krishna today. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, this summit is India’s largest global AI event so far. It would be more appropriate to name it ‘Global Accelerate India Summit’, because it will accelerate the pace of development.

The professor warned that the next four years are crucial. The era of AI, automation and quantum computing is coming. India’s software talent is the best in the world. If we apply it in AI then the country will become a producer from a consumer.

This summit will provide technical leadership to India and make a dent on the global stage. Take steps in time, otherwise you will be left behind in the competition.
