India Alliance PC: Eng5 issues were discussed in the Dia Aghadi meeting. It covered topics ranging from NEET scams to the Indian economy. A total of 25 parties were involved in today’s meeting. Such information was included by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Kharge was speaking at a press conference held in Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Kharge said that a letter will be written to the Chief Justice regarding serious issues like manipulation of SIR electoral rolls and fairness in elections. Secondly, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign immediately in view of the serious issues affecting lakhs of students and the NEET-UG paper leak case. Thirdly, an all-party meeting should be convened to discuss the economic situation, unemployment, atrocities and farmers’ issues, which we will continue to raise. Fourth, we will meet every two months, the next meeting will be held in Hyderabad on August 8. Fifth, all-party coordination will continue in Parliament.

After the meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge said, “25 parties attended the India Alliance meeting. Uddhav Thackeray and Hemant Soren also joined the meeting virtually and also gave their views. They also agreed on all the points raised in today’s meeting. After that we unanimously decided on five points. Today we have agreed that we will fight for these points, work on them and move forward.”

According to opposition leaders, if all parties come together regularly, mutual trust will be strengthened and the message of a positive and united opposition will be conveyed to the public. The meeting in Hyderabad could be a milestone in the opposition alliance’s strategy to reorient itself and trap the government in a quandary.
