India’s performance in this event
India has developed rapidly in this Para Championship. Japan’s Kobe India had 17 medals in its account, whereas only 2 medals could be won in the Qatar edition. The National Paralympic Committee is considering the organization of this event as a big step. Its objective is that through this the Paralympic Games can be taken to every home.
This will motivate people to take part as much as possible, which will promote sports and disabled people in India. Not only this, through the event, India is now trying to target organizing more global events in the future. The World Athletics Championship of 2029 and the Olympics of 2036 are on target.
