This 500 meter long road has been constructed on the northbound carriageway of the Coastal Road between Nariman Point and Worli as soon as it exits the tunnel. Road built on Hungarian technique

Keeping safety in mind, BMC has installed alert road signs 500 meters, 100 meters and 60 meters in advance, so that drivers can control their speed. CM Fadnavis has called it a new initiative and said that it is based on Hungarian technology. Right now this is like a pilot project, if it is successful then it will be used in other cities.

Road built for more than Rs 6 crore

The cost of this project is Rs 6.21 crore. The project has been developed with the help of Hungarian experts based on the concept of former MP Rahul Shewale. Officials believe that this initiative will not only promote traffic discipline but will also provide a unique experience to the passengers.
