‘India Food Expo’ will become the gateway to developed UP, food entrepreneurs will gather in the capital

Lucknow, Read: There is a great opportunity for those starting the food industry in Uttar Pradesh. Indian Industries Association (IIA) is going to organize the 10th ‘India Food Expo’ in Lucknow. The expo will run for three days from 16th to 18th January. Where, there will be a gathering from entrepreneurs from all sectors related to food to modern farmers. Problems related to the food industry will be discussed and solutions will be found. IIA said that this expo will prove to be the gateway to developed UP. Through this, a possibility of business worth Rs 4 to 5 thousand crores has also been expressed in the coming days.

Lucknow, which has recently been given the status of ‘Creative City of Gastronomy’ by UNESCO. Obviously there is no answer to its food and the city itself is a big hub of the food industry.

90 companies are coming to IIA’s Food Expo. About 115 stalls will be set up. These stalls will have equipment for industries related to food processing, packaging, cold, dairy, bakery, confectionery and hotel industries. Experts, academicians, successful entrepreneurs and farmers will share their success stories. There will be such an environment where anyone coming with a business idea will be given support and advice to set up an industry. About 15 thousand people are expected to come to this expo. So far around 8000 registrations have been done.

IIA National President Dinesh Goyal said that this expo is related to the state government’s vision of Developed India @ 2047 and the announcement of setting up 75 thousand food processing units across the state. He said that there is huge potential in the field of food industry in UP. Our effort is to connect farmers directly with industries and become a part of the direct supply chain. There will be brainstorming on policy, funds, exports, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship for three days.

From contact to success

India Food Expo aims to bring together policy makers, industrialists, food processors, agriculture, dairy, machinery and technology, packaging, cold chain and logistics, start-ups, academicians, investors and related institutions under one roof. So that every person associated with food, from farmers to entrepreneurs, can benefit from it.

Invest UP and food processing also participate

The state government is trying to get investors from all over the world to invest in UP. She is also providing all possible cooperation in setting up the industry. Therefore Invest UP and Department of Food Processing are the partners of this India Food Expo. Both the departments will cooperate to solve every doubt of the entrepreneurs. Four banks are also joining to support new entrepreneurs, who will resolve funding issues for the industry. Apart from this, there will also be investors who can invest in the business of entrepreneurs.

Expo at Regalia Greens, Gomtinagar

The three-day India Food Expo will be held at Regalia Greens, Gomtinagar. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will be the chief guest. There will also be officials from various departments related to food, who will be a part of the dialogue with the entrepreneurs. Will listen to problems, find solutions. Expo President Chetan Bhalla, Rajiv Bansal, Anandi Agarwal, Vaibhav Agarwal, Adnan Danish, Rishi Tripathi, IIA Senior Vice President Alok Agarwal, General Secretary Deepak Bajaj, Treasurer Awadhesh Agarwal etc. were present in the conference.
