On Tuesday, the Indian Embassy in Iran said in a statement that most of the students who were stuck in Tehran have been moved to a relatively safe place. The students were offered to move to a safer place due to shelling and attacks in Tehran. Those students who accepted the offer were moved to a relatively safe place. The Indian Embassy has made arrangements for the travel, accommodation and food of those students.

However, several students have turned down the government’s offer of safe haven. They did not want to leave their home. They are still in Tehran. But that number is small. Those students have been advised to stay safe as before. Keeping in mind the safety of Indians detained in Iran, the guidelines were issued by the Indian Embassy in Tehran last Sunday. Where multiple helpline numbers are provided. Those guidelines remain in place for those detained. It said, “Stay where you are. Stay indoors as much as possible. Don’t stay by the window.”
Meanwhile, due to this war, many Indians are trapped in several other countries in the Middle East. The government has taken initiative to bring them back to the country. It is known that an initiative has already been taken to send all three Air India planes to Dubai Airport. The Center claims that Indians stuck in Iran will be rescued as soon as possible.
