India mourns Khamenei’s death : There is mourning in India also over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the attack by America and Israel. “The Chief Minister has expressed deep concern over the developments in Iran, including the news of the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He has appealed to all communities to remain calm, maintain peace and avoid any action that could lead to tension or unrest. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is concerned about the safety and well-being of J&K residents, including students, currently in Iran,” Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s office said in an X Post. “Working closely with the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India to ensure this.”
