It’s been 14 days of war
This statement comes at a time when the conflict in the region has entered the 14th day. The Strait of Hormuz is still open, but due to the war it is difficult for ships to pass.
Iran’s Supreme Leader’s representative in India, Abdul Majeed Hakim Elahi, said that Iran has not closed the strait. He told, ‘Iran did not close Hormuz. It is open but due to the current conditions ships are not able to pass. Iran never wanted it to stop. Some ships are still passing.’
Appeal to world leaders
He appealed to world leaders to put pressure on people to stop this war. Ilahi said, ‘Those who started this war should stop it. Many people around the world are suffering from this. World leaders should unite and put pressure on the President of America to immediately stop this unjust war.
He also said that Iran did not start the war. Iran was negotiating with America, but suddenly America and Israel attacked and targeted many civilians in Iran. Ilahi said, ‘We will win this war and are ready to sacrifice everything for our honor and land.’
America accused Iran
On behalf of America, Defense Minister Pete Hegseth said that he is ready to maintain freedom of navigation in Hormuz. He accused Iran that Iran is firing on the ships, due to which the ships are not able to pass. He said, ‘This is happening only because of Iran. We are handling it, don’t worry.
Meanwhile, Iran’s new leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, in his first statement, talked about creating pressure by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. He said that the people wish that effective defense continues and the use of the Hormuz Block continues.
