Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a visit to France. Speaking there, he said that India is not just a consumer, but has now become a center for solving problems. Modi said that India is becoming a pioneer in various discoveries in the world.

Alongside French President Emmanuel Macron, Modi said, “The youth of India now thinks about the entire humanity. In fact, innovation is in India’s DNA. Medicine, yoga, mathematics, science – everything has been contributed by India for thousands of years which has affected the entire humanity. Today India innovates rapidly, it is for the healthy living of the whole world.” The Prime Minister reminded that in the last 12 years, he has created an environment across the country that has resulted in the growth of innovation in India.

Modi also said that India is no longer just a consumer in the global arena. Instead, solutions to the world’s problems are emerging from India. New technologies are being invented. How technology can play an important role in solving the problems of our people, India is inspired by that ideal, according to the Prime Minister. The innovation-friendly environment in the country has developed over the past 12 years and India has today become a ‘hub’ for solving technological problems. India is not only adopting the technology of other countries, but also developing its own technology, the Prime Minister said while standing in France.

Macron also spoke highly of India’s innovation sector on stage at the Bharat Innovates event. Referring to the success of Chandrayaan 3, the French President said that India is moving fast in terms of discovery and is leading the world in terms of innovation. India and France have bilateral cooperation in technology, Macron reminded. It should be noted that Modi met several industrialists before this conference.
