Mission Sudarshan: India will create impenetrable security shield with Israel, enemy’s long range missiles will fail
India Israel Defense Deal News: Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Israel, big news has come from India’s defense camp. India is now going to work with Israel on the world’s most deadly anti-ballistic missile defense system and laser weapon. Defense experts believe that Israel is now ready to share that top secret technology with India, which it had not given to any country till now.
The biggest part of this cooperation is Mission Sudarshan. Under this, India is preparing its own security shield, which will destroy the enemy’s long-range missiles even before they enter the Indian border. Israel is the undisputed world leader in this field. In June 2024, 98 percent of the missiles fired by Iran were destroyed in the air by Israel’s Arrow and Iron Dome systems. Now with the help of this technology, India will completely secure its interior areas.
A net of drones and stand-off missiles
India will develop long-range stand-off missiles and deadly kamikaze drones with Israel, not only in security but also in attack capability. It is noteworthy that during Operation Sindoor, India had destroyed the Chinese-made air defense system by entering the Pakistani border with the help of Israeli Rampage missiles and Harop drones. The MoU signed during the last visit of Defense Secretary RK Singh to Tel Aviv had laid the foundation of this mega deal. Now it is expected to be finalized during PM Modi’s visit, which will make India completely self-reliant and invincible in the defense sector.
France: Rafale Marines and fighter jets
India has signed a deal for 26 Rafale marine aircraft for the Navy (about Rs 63000 crore). These aircraft will be deployed on aircraft carriers like INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya. Negotiations for the purchase of 114 multi-role fighter aircraft for the Air Force are in the final stages, in which France’s Rafale is the strongest contender.
America: Predator drone and engine technology
India is buying 31 Hunter Killer Predator drones from America (about $3 billion). These drones are capable of spying and attacking by staying in the air for more than 35 hours.
