‘India-Israel relations written in blood’, Hamas-26/11 matches Modi, blasts Pakistan without naming names

This is the first time an Indian Prime Minister has addressed the Israeli parliament. Making history, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in a strong voice that India wants to restore peace in Gaza. Also, without naming Pakistan, Modi announced that no excuse can be given for militancy. In a gesture of rebuke to Israel’s bellicose mentality towards Gaza, Modi said that peace can only be brought through negotiations.

This is Modi’s first visit to Israel after taking office for the third term. Like many, Modi’s visit is one of balance. The future direction of New Delhi’s equation with the rest of the West Asian countries will be determined from this visit. At the beginning of his speech in Israel’s Knesset, Modi said that the relationship between India and Israel is written in blood. The prime minister linked the 26/11 Mumbai attack with the Hamas attack in 2023. He said, India knows very well the pain of being bloodied by terrorist attacks.

Although Hamas condemned the attack, Modi insisted on restoring peace in Gaza. India has already joined Donald Trump’s Board of Peace meeting as an observer to restore peace in Gaza.

Modi taunted Pakistan without mentioning the issue of terrorist attacks. He made it clear that terrorism that kills innocent people cannot be justified in any way. The whole world must fight together to stop this heinous act of terrorism. Because terrorists can set foot in any country of the world. Even though Modi’s speech did not name any country, this hint is aimed at Pakistan, informed circles think.

Although Hamas condemned the attack, Modi insisted on restoring peace in Gaza. Standing in the Knesset, he said, “The path to peace is not easy. But India is interested in bringing peace to the region. Long-term peace can be established only through talks with the whole world.” It may be noted that India has already joined Donald Trump’s Board of Peace meeting as an observer to restore peace in Gaza. On the other hand, during his standing speech in the Knesset, Modi mentioned the improvement of the Indian economy. After his speech on this day, Modi was awarded a special honour. He was awarded the Speaker of the Knesset Medal, the highest honor of the Knesset.
