India-Israel Sign AI, Cybersecurity, Trade Agreements, UPI Link Announced
PM Modi Israel Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel During this, India and Israel signed agreements (MoUs) in many important areas including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Agriculture, Education, Trade and Technology. These agreements were signed in Jerusalem in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Benjamin Netanyahu, which shows the growing strategic and economic partnership between the two countries. These agreements include areas like agricultural innovation, geophysical exploration, fisheries, aquaculture, marine heritage, use of AI in education, trade and cyber security.
Both the countries also took decisions like creating India-Israel Agriculture Innovation Centre, setting up Cyber Center of Excellence and connecting the UPI system. Apart from this, it has also been agreed to increase cooperation in education, research and high-tech sectors. During the signing of agreements S. Jaishankar And many ministers of Israel signed documents related to different areas. Officials say that these agreements will accelerate research, technology, trade and investment in the times to come and India-Israel strategic partnership will be further strengthened.

- Separate MoU on Artificial Intelligence, so that cooperation in new technologies increases
- According to officials, with these agreements, India-Israel partnership will not be limited to defense only, but will also progress rapidly in areas like technology, education, agriculture and digital economy.
What did PM Modi say?
- Addressing a joint press briefing with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced several important decisions that will take India-Israel relations to a new height. He said that both the countries have decided to establish partnership in critical and emerging technologies.
- PM Modi said that he is happy to have an agreement on the use of UPI in Israel, which will strengthen digital payment cooperation. Apart from this, both the countries will advance cooperation in civil nuclear energy and space sector. He also said that work will be done together on developing future-ready agricultural solutions and creating ‘Villages of Excellence’, so that concrete results can be achieved in the field of agriculture and rural development.
- The Prime Minister said that India has a clear thinking that humanity should never become a victim of any conflict. He said that the Gaza Peace Plan has opened a path towards peace and India has supported such efforts.
- The Prime Minister also reiterated that India will continue cooperation and dialogue with all countries to ensure lasting peace.
- PM Modi said that there is no place for terrorism in the world. We had opposed it earlier also and will continue to do so in future also.
What did Netanyahu say?
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared his personal memory in a light-hearted manner. He said that he feels personally indebted to India, because during his first or second meeting with his wife Sara, they had a date at an Indian restaurant named Reena Pushkarna. Netanyahu told that the food there was very excellent and Sara had tasted Indian dishes for the first time, which made that meeting very special for him.
- Benjamin Netanyahu said on the Prime Minister’s visit that it was a short but very effective and emotional visit. He said that this visit had a deep impact on the people of Israel and the entire nation became emotional after the address given in the Parliament.
- Referring to the speech given in the Knesset, Netanyahu said that this tour has brought the two countries closer in heart and mind. According to him, in this meeting many important issues which gave a new direction to the relations between the two countries were discussed and possibilities of further strengthening the cooperation were explored.
