Amidst the increasing tension in West Asia, India has issued an important security advisory for its citizens living in Israel. The Indian Embassy has appealed to the citizens to be extremely cautious in view of the situation and strictly follow all security guidelines. The Embassy has advised citizens to be aware of safe shelter sites near their residence or workplace and be prepared to reach there immediately if necessary. Also, people have been asked to avoid non-essential travel within the country and stay away from crowded areas until further notice.

To assist the citizens, the Indian Mission has also started a 24-hour emergency helpline. According to officials, the embassy is in constant touch with the Israeli administration and will continue to issue further advice and updates as the situation continues.
This security warning has come at a time when Israel has announced a pre-planned military operation against Iran. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the purpose of this action is to eliminate the potential threats facing the country. After this, the possibility of military tension and conflict in the area has increased further.
