India made deadly weapon, disaster for Pakistan, China stunned!
New Delhi. Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has developed Akash Next Generation (Akash-NG) missile system to further strengthen its air defense network. It has been designed to deal with modern threats such as drone attacks, electronic jamming and high-speed targets.
Increased strength due to new technology
The major improvement of this missile has been in its engine. In this, a dual-pulse solid rocket motor has been installed in place of the old ramjet engine, making the missile fast, light and energy efficient. This means it will be easier to deploy and move quickly during combat.
More goals, faster action
Akash-NG can now identify more than 100 air targets simultaneously and attack 10 targets at the same time. It has been fitted with a new multi-function radar and electro-optical targeting system, which can also handle challenges like drones and cruise missiles with low radar signature.
credibility in battle
An optical proximity fuse has been added to ensure timely detonation in the event of electronic interference. This means that even in difficult conditions this missile will be successful in hitting its target.
Quick deployment and coverage
Akash-NG’s launcher works with 360 degree rotation capability and can engage targets with an altitude of 20 to 70 degrees. It can be deployed in just 20 minutes and the reloading process is also extremely fast.
New chapter in Indian Air Defense
The system is not just a missile upgrade, but a vital part of India’s indigenous air defense network. Akash-NG will strengthen the security of the country’s strategic bases and military establishments, making it a warning to neighboring countries as well.
