The Meteorological Department has warned that the weather may change suddenly in many parts of the country in the next few hours and days. There is a possibility of destructive winds blowing at a speed of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour in many states. Rajasthan: Due to the activation of a new western disturbance, strong thunderstorms with a speed of 60 to 70 km per hour and hailstorm at isolated places are expected in many districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner.

Bihar: Mixed weather will be seen in the state. While south-western parts may experience heat wave, north-eastern districts like Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj have been warned of lightning and heavy rain.

Hill State: There is a danger of rain and lightning in the tourist places of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, due to which travelers have been advised to remain alert.

In view of the bad weather, IMD has advised people to stay away from trees and electric poles. People have been asked to avoid standing in open fields and take shelter in safe places during lightning strikes.
