Danger of war in the year 2026? Kashmir can become a reason for India-Pakistan conflict, warns American think tank

The Council on Foreign Relations, in its report ‘Conflicts to Watch in 2026’, has placed the possibility of war between India and Pakistan in the category of medium probability. According to the report, if terrorist incidents increase in Kashmir, then the tension between the two countries may once again turn into a military confrontation. CFR believes that such a conflict could also have some impact on American interests, because South Asia is a very important region in terms of global security and diplomacy.
