Team mentor and manager Sarfaraz Ahmed confirmed the Prime Minister’s reward while talking to the media. He told that each player will be given 10 million Pakistani rupees, which is equivalent to approximately 36 thousand US dollars. Sarfaraz said that working with these young players was a great experience for him and he is confident that these players will become the backbone of Pakistan cricket in the future.

Coach Shahid Anwar gave credit for the victory to the accurate selection process.

Head coach Shahid Anwar attributed the victory to long-term planning and a precise selection process. He told that the formation of the team started in the month of June, when after the trials, about 70 players were selected and then gradually a team of 20 players was formed by sorting them. These players were given a chance to play 50 over matches at the domestic level, so that they could prepare for the big stage.
